We’re hosting our second annual Halloween party. Just like last year, we will be having a contest for best dressed for solo, duo, and group constumes. Come by anytime from 1pm-10:30pm and have your picture taken under the ballon arch. Tag Subculture, so that we can see your photo. Photo with the most reactions and shares will be the winner. (shares count as 3pts; reactions as 1pt).
We will also have a special beer release and music starting at 7pm. Keep an eye out on our social media for more details.

4pm-6ish: Hammer-Schlägen Tournament. Sign up before 4pm! More details further down.
7pm: Announcement for best dressed for Oktoberfest! And winner of Hammer-Schlägen. $50 Giftcard Prizes.
Beers:
In addition to our normal draft offerings, we will also have 4 German beers available including two new releases - Subculture Festbier(new), GrünGrin Weissbier(new), Kinkora Kölsch, & Petticoat Pils.
We are also offering a buy the tankard special. Purchase a Seidel Style Dimple Tankard for Oktoberfest and it comes with your first beer! Refills are just $5 for all German beers (listed above). Follow the PRE-ORDER link to purchase the tankard for $20. Or buy one day of for $23
Hammer-Schlagen Tournament:
This is based on an old German children’s game. Some people know this game as “stump”.
Take turns swinging a hammer to try and drive your competitions nails into a stump. When a players nail is gone, they’re gone.
House rules- Play is clockwise. To start your turn you must flip the hammer, catch it…and swing immediately after. Two swings awarded for tricks (under the leg, behind the back, etc). All players must consent to a safety waiver before playing.
Food: traditional German fare (about 200 servings) will be available when we open from Stepper3. Save your geld for beers - the bill for food is being picked up by local Florence businessman Steve Rudolph! Bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, and Spätzle.
Best Dressed for Oktoberfest: Come dressed in your best lederhosen and dirndl. We will be making an announcement around 7pm and awarding a $50 giftcard for the winner.

Adam Reiss will be joining us for some acoustic guitar on Friday night starting at 6pm until 9pm. If the weather is nice we will be out in the beer garden. We also have a special menu from Palermo’s for the night, in addition to thier regular full menu.
